Let's talk about straying and returning.

• You can never truly 'turn' from the Lord Jesus, because those who say that they are 'stepping down' from the faith, never knew Jesus to begin with (Hebrews 10:38).

  
  

• We can 'wander' at times and seasons of unrepentant sin, yes, but, we are always to humble ourselves and be as the prodigal son who returns to the loving and forgiving Father who will redeem us once again.

  
  

• Every Christian wanders at some point. Some wander after false teachers. Some wander after unrepentant sinful choices. Some wander after lies and delusions. Those who do not return, never knew the Lord to begin with, but their own understanding of Him (2nd Corinthians 11:3/4).
