Let's talk about suffering for good.
It is a good, noble and Christlike quality to suffer for doing good for the Kingdom and glory of God.
Many professing Christians will be unwilling to suffer in the end (Matthew 24:9/14) because they will be expecting a pre-trib rapture, instead of enduring to the end as Christ commanded to all of the churches in Revelation 2-3 (Daniel 7:21/22).
To lay down your life for Christ Jesus (literally) is a strong sign of your faithfulness to Him (Revelation 2:10, Revelation 12:11). Are we required to do so? No. But, if we are placed into the position for doing so (2nd Timothy 3:12)? Yes, we must not hesitate to follow Christ to the end. Even unto death (Revelation 6:9/11, Revelation 13:10, Revelation 14:13, Revelation 16:4/7).
