A Heart Too Comfortable With The Vanities Of This World Will Never Rest In Jesus.

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God gives to us all that we need so we may faithfully live for and serve Him in capacity. But, if we become unsatisfied with His provisions, we can fall into the trap of compromise and conformity to the pattern of this world. In a reality like 2026, if there was ever a time to trust God with 'getting by', it is right now. As we see the world go into famine (Revelation 6:5/6), many may begin to trust God less because of placing their comforts in 'convenience'. My exhortation for you: If Jesus is not the meaning and purpose of your life, then the world will happily sell you many lies to be comfortable with... including a coming 'mark' (Revelation 13:8-16/17).
Seek to put your ALL into God and His Kingdom, and you will find FULLNESS of life (Matthew 6:33, John 14:6). If you have a covetous heart rooted in vanities like MAGA, in 'peace and safety', in 'reaching my goals', in 'getting that career', in 'getting the girl/guy', or some other thing the world tries to sell you, and Jesus is not the foundation in any of it, then you may find yourself living a lie 'in His name', merely using the name of Jesus as a means to an end.
