Are You 'Too Far Gone'? His Living Waters Are Still Available Even For You.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." - Matthew 11:28/30

Isaiah 1:18

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Revelation 22:17

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

  • How often do you come to God with a repentant heart? He requires it daily, because we will fall short, daily. But, if we do not come to Him with a heart of repentance, we do not trust in His forgiveness and grace. This eventually leads to hardness of heart, compromise, and ultimately, rebellion, sinning with a heart that justifies it because you then believe that God also 'agrees' with your sin because you place Him into thinking and acting just like you. Hence, making God in your own image.

  • Our God is gracious and kind. Ready to forgive us of sin. We only have to approach Him with a broken heart, ready to change, that He may be glorified. We must be humble, honest about our sin and rebellion and accept His Son Christ Jesus as Lord, Savior and King of our lives. All of this must be done with our eyes set upon "He who never changes", and not 'our idea' of Him in our own vain imaginations. Jesus is sufficient as He is (Hebrews 13:8), and repentance/salvation is still free for all who believe (Romans 10:8/13, John 3:16/21).
