But The One Who Endures To The End Shall Be Saved.

Romans 8:35/39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The one who is unwilling to suffer for Jesus will ultimately be offended by Him if faced with something that demands allegiance in something else (Matthew 24:9/14, Revelation 13:1/10). If I told you that my own walk with Jesus was ‘sunshine and rainbows’, I would utterly be lying to you. The reality is, I have had to lose much, while still glorifying Him in the midst of the pain, sorrow, deep loss, betrayal, heart crushing and so many other things I did not ‘sign up’ for. Yet, He has always ALWAYS been faithful through all things.
The love of God in Christ Jesus the Son is beyond anything that this world could ever hope to give to us. If we try to find love in this world, as a ‘forever thing’ or as somehow greater than the love of God, then we are searching in vain, as love must first be found in God, or we cannot even hope to love our fellow man (Matthew 22:36/40). This love requires FULL surrender, humility and a carrying of our cross daily (1st Corinthians 13:1/13). If our live is not selfless, then it will ultimately become narcissistic (let love be without hypocrisy).
The ultimate test of love at the end of the age (I believe) will be whether we can love the one who is about to end our lives, and we are able to say: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing”. If we cannot reach this point in our walk if we happen to be alive at the end, then we may cave in and either deny the Lord, or be too tempted to join in with the coming Beast System which is already being set up before our very eyes. If your love does not reflect what Jesus showed to His disciples, then you will be unprepared to endure in that same love when your life is placed before the edge of a knife or locked away in prison.
