1st Corinthians 7:24

Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called.


  • God has not simply provided salvation for your soul through His Son Christ Jesus, but He has also given you a purpose in His Kingdom. He has not saved you to be idle and waiting, but He has given us work to do with the time allotted to us (Matthew 28:18/20).


  • If you seek to 'make a name for yourself' in the name of God, then you will have received your reward (the praise of man). But if you stay faithful to the task given to you by God, then He will be glorified.


  • Are you unsure about what God has called you to do? Ask Him (Matthew 22:36/40, 28:18/20). Trust that God will prepare you for His glory to live out the Grand Design that He has for your life.
