Head Knowledge Without Discernment Leads To Living A Lie And Leading Others Into Hell.

Isaiah 5:21

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

• Do you consider yourself as a 'smart' or 'learned' person? The Word of God proclaims that we 'lean upon' the perfect wisdom of God (to fear Him), and to NOT lean upon our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5/6). Christ followers are not to act as 'know it all's', but being humble in the truth, studying to show ourselves approved, and going only by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and not the 'head knowledge' we obtain. If it does not have action behind it, it is merely head knowledge (2nd Corinthians 11:3/4).

• Many who profess the name of Jesus are at this point today, where the head knowledge has puffed them up and made them ignorant. Multitudes are so far into this that they merely study and regurgitate gnostic nonsense and repackaged heresies, while never once trusting the conviction from the Holy Spirit who is clearly showing them that 'this is wrong' or 'this is not true' or 'this is manipulation'.

• We are to trust the Holy Spirit as He directs us into ALL truth, guides us into repentance and draws us closer to Jesus (John 14:26 - John 16:13). If we mix the truth of the Word with conspiracy, delusion, what 'sounds right' or what the supposed 'experts' say, without testing all things by His Word, then we will end up believing FOOLISH things mixed with a little bit of truth, while also misleading multitudes into hell.
