Is The Western Church Ready For Discomfort?

In America, we are notorious for having this mentality that 'God could never judge us because we are America' or 'God will only judge us when a Democratic leadership is in power'...
Both of these notions are utterly ignorant, arrogant and coming from a position of pride, ego and quite honestly, stupidity.
As one who is thankful for having been born and raised in this nation, the more I look at it today, the more I only see ROME 2.0, and I am not alone in this sight. America turns a blind eye to obvious evils, regardless of political side, and continues to believe that 'voting better next time' will 'fix' the sin issue, the HEART ISSUE of this nation. God has shown us that ALL SIDES are led by corrupt men and women who only serve the god of this age... ignoring this is choosing to call evil as good.
Even respected voices in the church, eschatological world, supposed 'experts' and others want you to believe that America is somehow 'some special place' that God will 'never judge', and they continue to refuse to call out the evil in our current administration, simply because they do not want to lose followers and clout, and believe that their political views are seriously 'that' important.
The very hard truth of America in 2026 (and going towards 2030), is that we are going to face the most difficult time for the nations history, which I believe is going to lead to collapse, in not so much a different way from how Rome collapsed. We know that overall, Rome was destroyed by pride, and the same can be clearly seen in America... we love too much wickedness, 'wink' at it, and somehow believe that it is 'only on one political side', and even believe that 'if you choose XYZ political side, you are evil, but if you choose XYZ other political side, you are good'... and both of these are fatal.
America is already primed for judgement. And it is not simply for the LGBTQ stuff, or the abortion, or the racism, or the antisemitism, or any of the obvious things (though this is part of it). But at the end of the day, America is a nation without repentance. It is a nation believing that it is 'great' without God, and that political saviors can 'fix' it. And now, America is swallowing itself alive, refusing to repent and wondering WHY things are only growing worse for the past several years in general.
Will Christians in the West be ready for the reality of persecution? Will they be ready for the reality of martyrdom? Will they be ready when these realities come from others who profess to be followers of Jesus? Will they be ready to lose everything for the sake of Jesus? And no, this will not come from 'democratic socialism' or 'communism', but from something far far worse... a nation that refuses to repent, refuses to do as Jesus commanded (Matthew 22:36/40, Matthew 28:18/20) and continues to strive for the 'American Dream', which is no different than the pagan pride of Rome that led to its collapse.
Half of the church in the West has become racist towards the Jewish people, all based upon delusional conspiracy propaganda they read or listen about online, while a large group believes that they will 'escape these things in comfort and convenience', while some are paying very close attention to the persecution of Christians ramping up in the world, Islam overshadowing the West, powerful leaders making deals with leaders in the Islamic world and the rhetoric towards Christians (especially those who stand with the Jewish people) becoming more violent by the day.
I ask you, the Western Christian... how will you face losing your 'freedoms' for the sake of the Kingdom and the King? Will you go down 'guns ablaze' because of the 'America F*** yeah!' mentality? Or will you surrender your entire being to the King who commanded you to come and die with Him?
If Jesus is not greater to you than your nation, your government, your supposed freedoms, your family, friends, loved ones (Luke 14:25/33) and everything you desire... then you are not ready to face discomfort for His glory (Revelation 2:10, 12:11, 13:10). If you are unwilling to lose the basic and convenient comforts of this life, then you will ultimately be OFFENDED at Him when it ends (Matthew 24:9/14).
You CANNOT cling so tightly to this world, the customs of this world, the ways of this world, the systems of this world, the supposed 'progress' of this world or anything that this world 'promises' to give, as tighter than Jesus. Because at the end of the day, if this world 'HAS' you, then you will be going down with a SINKING SHIP along with the god of this age who will lose miserably in the end (Isaiah 63:1/6, Revelation 19:11/21).
Prepare to endure suffering for His glory... not to 'make it comfortably' through the dark days at our doorstep.
