Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

• Many people in our world today are following ideas from talking heads, convenient falsehoods, conspiracies about entire people groups, presidents and politics and many other vain and useless systems and people. The end result turns out being the god of this age laughing at the foolishness mankind runs into as it brings the world into its own demise. Those who can see all of this, and still follow Jesus as He is according to the Word (Hebrews 13:8), are truly blessed indeed.

• The hard reality is that all of the 'noise' in our world has become so normalized, and we have been so accustomed to it, that we do not bother paying attention to the voice of God that leads us into all truth (John 14:26, John 16:13, Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 55:8/9, 1st John 3:20). In order for us to remain faithful and sane, we must take up our cross daily and choose to follow Jesus. When we follow His lead, His character, His teachings, His Holy Spirit, we will be able to navigate this world as we should, and especially when we see The Day coming. Our goal right now should be to follow Jesus and His example, regardless of what it would cost us (Matthew 22:36/40, Matthew 28:18/20).
