Our Faith Is Not Void Or Hopeless.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

• What is faith? It is not blind, but, placing trust, hope and belief in something. In this case, placing hope in God, His Word, character, promises, all manifested in His Son, Christ Jesus. The hope that we have is not some void or vain thing as so many assume or mock at. If God was not real, not a single one of us would be here. If God was not sovereign, then we would have no hope. If God did not hold history in His hands, then we would have been eternally damned in the Garden (Genesis 3:22/24).

• No other being in His-Story has ever been as faithful and true as God. We can trust Him without holding back. When we look at the world as it stands today and see the multitudes of delusions taking hold of so many hearts and minds, we can rest in the fact that God is SO IN CONTROL that we can trust Him at our birth, our every life circumstance and even our very last breath.

For our God is not the God of the dead, but of the living...
