Our King And Mashiach Is Victorious.

John 16:33

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

1st Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Savior (Mashiach) is NOT hanging on a cross, nor is He in the grave. HOWEVER...

• The cross was stained with His blood and pierced with nails, to remind us of the price that He paid for us. He did not merely die for our sins, but He SUFFERED the full weight of the world and its sin for all of time up to right now. He has OVERCOME it all by His obedience to the Father (John 6:38, Philippians 2:5/11, John 8:27/29).

• The grave is empty, with folded up graveclothes, to remind us that He lives (John 16:25/33), and that He is returning

  again soon (Revelation 16:15)!
