Submission Is Life. Arrogant Pride Is Death.

Psalm 18:25-27
With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; with a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless; with the pure You will show Yourself pure; and with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd (knowing the motives). For You will save the humble people, but will bring down haughty looks.
God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. This becomes very clear when one demands something of God or of others and does not receive what they demand, but instead get firm rebuke or even destruction upon their lives. I have experienced this in my own life when choosing pride and arrogance instead of humbly submitting to God. YET, He is still merciful even after the arrogant and proud has been humbled, IF they repent.
As we look at a world in 2026 that is embracing all sorts of heartlessness, lawlessness, being loveless, unforgiving, raging and corrupt beyond measure while calling it 'progress', we need to be drawing close to the Lord and following His example, even when our flesh desires to do otherwise... the easy thing to do is to 'follow your heart' (which leads to destruction) in how we treat others when they treat us wrong. But it is far more difficult to SWALLOW your pride and do what the Lord leads you to do (Matthew 22:36/40).
If you live humbly before the Lord, He will lead you to learn and grow in a healthy manner. But if you continue on in prideful arrogance, ignorance and foolishness, do not be surprised to learn 'the hard way', which yes, God will still show mercy, but will leave you broken and undone. Submit to Him today while it is still called today, for the night is approaching when nobody will submit to Him.

This is beautiful. Amen.
