The Blind Choose To Hate The God Which They Know Is Real.

Man is without excuse to the very obvious truth.
Man is without excuse to the very obvious truth.

2nd Corinthians 4:3-6

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them (John 3:16/21). For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

  • Even as the world is becoming more obviously evil and coming undone, it is mind-boggling to see how so many still refuse God, or know that He is real, and reject Him anyways. They have seen the Light, but still choose the darkness because they have fallen in love with it. All of this ultimately is priming hearts and minds to more readily accept the antichrist, the man of sin, who is already in the world today as you read this. The truth is veiled to those who already choose to hate it, as well as the Author of the truth.

  • The Great Mission of each follower of Jesus rests in the realities of Matthew 22:36/40 and Matthew 28:18/20. If we do not embrace the simplicity of these two commands, then we ultimately fall into conformed religion, keeping appearances and dead acts of service which do not impress God (Matthew 7:21/23). No, not all of us are required to go overseas and join the underground church (though this would be nice), but we are to be salt and light even in our own local communities, making Jesus known with the time that we have here.

  • At the end of the day, the Good News is not about us. Those who make it about ‘your best life now’ are charlatans, wolves, deceivers and quite honestly, demons (or influenced by them). If the Good News is about a ‘better life’ and not a SURRENDERED LIFE in repentance, truth, love, honor and humility, then we have so far missed the mark of what Jesus truly came to do for us. And if we present a different Gospel to the world, then we call God a liar and a deceiver. So, let the truth offend who it will offend, know Jesus and make Him known, because the night is already setting in for this wicked age.
