The Blood Of The Elect.

Revelation 16:4/7
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters saying: “You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets (most saints will be dead around the world at this point), and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”
The judgements at the end of the age will not affect the saints, though certain groups and ideologies want you to believe otherwise (pretrib, etc). The reality is, multitudes have been killed for following Jesus faithfully throughout time (2nd Timothy 3:12), and many more will be facing this very real reality at the end of the age (Revelation 6:9/11). If one is not ready for this, they will ultimately be offended at and even deny Jesus (Matthew 24:9/14).
The saints are NOT appointed to wrath. Yes, not the wrath of God. BUT we are appointed to the wrath of the antichrist (Daniel 7:21/22, Revelation 13:1/10). Many who want you to believe that ‘tribulation = wrath’ are ignorant at best, willfully arrogant at worst. Multitudes of men at the pulpit teach even right now that their congregations will be ‘whisked away’, while a separate class of ‘tribulation saints’ will have to face the end of the age, be killed for their faith and tell people about Jesus… consider how immature such a belief truly is.
‘YOU’ get to escape and have comfort for 7 years, but brethren who get ‘left behind’ will have to endure, suffer and be killed? And worse, that ‘the tribulation is only for those Jews’? This is what the pretrib ideology ultimately teaches, while ignoring the reality of persecution and martyrdom overall, or making excuses to be excluded from it!
If Jesus is only your Lord and Savior when you get to avoid suffering, then He is a conformed image, a vain imagination which you have changed to appeal to your flesh, and this is dangerous. But if Jesus commanded we ‘pick up our cross’, to ‘deny yourself’ and to ‘come die with Him’, and we deny this, then we will be offended and deny Him (Matthew 24:9/14). Jesus will refine His bride and prepare them for the reality of Revelation 21:4, even as their blood is spilled for His glory.
