The Faithful Will Be Refined Unto Maturity.

2nd Timothy 3:12
Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will (meaning it WILL happen. Not ‘maybe’) suffer persecution.
Have you ever faced persecution as a follower of Jesus? Most, if not all of us in the USA or the West would more than likely have to say ‘NO’. And while many like to say that when somebody ‘disagrees’ with you, that this is somehow ‘persecution’. But I can assure you, true persecution generally comes with violence, vitriol hatred and even the possibility of death, being murdered simply because you stand boldly for Jesus. This is almost always exclusively something which happens with the underground church. But it is coming to the West very soon, and it will not come in the way that many expect (Matthew 24:9/14).
Are you living ‘godly’ in Christ Jesus? Meaning, are you taking the teachings of Jesus seriously and do you listen to the Holy Spirit (Matthew 22:36/40, 28:18/20)? The harsh reality of 2026 and beyond is that multitudes are merely going to church and keeping appearances. Many are merely keeping traditions. Many are merely ‘winning arguments’ online. Many are just doing the ‘churchy’ things, but ignoring the simple things that Jesus commanded we do with the time given to us.
Persecution in the real world will challenge countless multitudes who were taught that they would ‘never face those things’, or that ‘those things happened in 70AD’ or that ‘persecution could never happen in the USA or the West’ and many other false hopes. YES, many do not want to face the realities of persecution and martyrdom, because they sound horrific. But at the end of the day, we have disciples and apostles of the early church, and an entire history of men, women and even children who have been killed for their faith and faced some of the worst tortures possible, while remaining faithful until their final breath. To think that this is ‘wrath’ from God, is not only abhorrent, but basically spitting in the face of the God who is faithful until the very end.
“Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on…”
“Blessed is the death of the saints in His sight…”
“They did not love their lives to the end…”
“I am with you always, even until the end of the age…”
