Psalm 9:9-10
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd who never abandons His sheep. He seeks for us to faithfully follow Him, even through dark valleys and chaotic circumstances (Psalm 23, John 10:7/16). He refines us in each situation if we truly trust Him. Multiple men in pulpits today do not care about your soul, nor about your life... I have seen this first hand. The only One you will always be able to trust is Jesus.
You will not be able to find true refuge in a church building. You will only find refuge in Christ Jesus alone. This will be especially true at the end of the age. When all of the chaos is going on and we seek to know how best to respond in faith to all of it, our refuge will be in Jesus, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit above all else (John 14:26, John 16:13).
Place your faith FULLY in Jesus today. If there was ever a true Refuge to run to in a world going mad, it is in Christ Jesus alone. But we do not merely run to Him in order to escape trouble, but to receive clarity, forgiveness and encouragement that we can face difficulty with faith in HIS ability and HIS guidance which builds our faith and draws us closer to Him.

We desperately need to remember His goodness in this hour. Amen.
