The Light Reveals All Things. Darkness Always Attempts To Hide Them.

1st John 1:5-10
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
Are you walking in the truth and living for Jesus with your actions, or only professing Him with your mouth? Multitudes of professing Christians today merely live for Him by profession of mouth only, but have no fruit (actions to prove it). They proclaim the Light, but 'suppress the truth in unrighteousness'. On the Day of Judgement, many will proclaim his own goodness or good works "but Lord Lord, didn't I do XYZ in Your name?", only to hear "I never knew you... away from Me, you who PRACTICE lawlessness". This is a serious and somber warning for all who do the 'church shuffle' on Sundays, but have nothing to serve Him with during the week when around the world.
Once the Light exposes the darkness, God does not do this to shame us, but that we may see HIS GOODNESS and HIS MERCY and HIS LOVE for us from the beginning (John 3:16/21, 1st John 4:18/19). If we ignore the Light (truth) that exposes our need for salvation, repentance and turning away from the lie we live, then eventually we are given over to a strong delusion (Romans 1:18/32).
To truly show that you are saved requires a practice of repentance, applying what you learn from His Word, and fleeing from who you once used to be (James 2:14/26). If you are truly a 'new creation' in Christ Jesus, then you will listen to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, flee from what you once were and not continue on the BROAD PATH to destruction you were on before coming to know Jesus... if you continue down the wrong path, then your 'salvation' was considered a minor event to you, and Christ died for nothing in your eyes.
Repent and believe!
