The Number Of Your Brethren.
Revelation 6:9/11
When He (Jesus) opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony (which can only be given while alive, through word of mouth) which they held (the martyrs of the past, the present and soon to be). And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed (not raptured, but killed for their faith… Revelation 16:4/7).
The church in this hour (particularly in the West) is trying very hard to get believers to be excited to ‘escape into the sky at any moment’, but ignoring scriptures like the above, as well as multiple others in Revelation, along with a history of the church full of blood. We have been taught that we should ‘look up and wait to fly into the sky’ instead of examining our hearts and minds, seeing if we are truly ready to ENDURE as Jesus COMMANDS, while having a FAITHFUL WITNESS as the age comes to an end.
What will cause multitudes to become offended in the days ahead is the reality of persecution and martyrdom. Many will have been so comfortable with the thought of ‘going up into the sky’ while others are ‘left behind’, that they will panic when they find themselves here and having to endure faithfully as Jesus commands, and having to actually go out and make Jesus known and risk their lives for doing so. It will cause THE biggest offense in church history, and MANY will be humbled (being led to a stronger faith), while many more will be offended to the point of denying Him entirely and following the beast and his short-lived system.
If you pay very close attention to the language of this scripture, the martyrs crying out to Jesus are told: “Wait a little while longer until YOUR BRETHREN who would BE KILLED AS YOU WERE, is COMPLETED”. This clearly tells us that MANY FOLLOWERS OF JESUS will be KILLED for their faith at the end of the age. They will not ‘escape these things’ because ‘God loves them too much to allow any kind of difficulty’, when we have countless multitudes of men and women in the scriptures and history who have suffered for the glory of God and only further made His name known in a world going mad.
If your heart is not ready to ENDURE, then your heart will DENY the King who bought you and has your ENTIRE life and death in His hands, and the ONLY ONE who can RAISE YOU!
