The Seed Of Life And The Seed Of Death.

1st John 3:10/12

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother (Matthew 22:36/40). For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another (John 13:34/35), not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother (John 8:44). And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.

• From the Garden and afterwards, the world has been corrupting the 'Good Seed' for generations. When Adam and Eve ate from the tree, the 'bad seed' came into play, and it grew worse from Cain and onward. The Good Seed came through the line of Christ Jesus, and through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants (Genesis 15, Jeremiah 33:19/26, Romans 11). Ultimately, a 'New Seed' is produced when one repents and believes in what Christ Jesus alone has accomplished (John 3:16/21, Romans 10:9/11).

• The 'Bad Seed' will always be bad so long as it refuses the Soil of repentance and salvation. The Good Seed will always be good so long as it 'remains in the True Vine' (John 15:4/8). The Bad Seed cannot become a Good Seed as long as pride and arrogance leads them into destruction (Proverbs 3:34). If one is truly a Good Seed, they will bear fruit from the Master (Matthew 7:17/19), but if a Bad Seed, they will bear nothing but rotting, putrid, maggot-filled delusion which gives off a foul stench.

I urge you, ensure that you are being cultivated in the GOOD SOIL of the Word and the Lord Jesus, and not allowing yourself to be 'stewed' in the rotting of the world (Matthew 3:12).
