The Wicked Do Not Own Up.

Multitudes of people love their sin, even as it slowly destroys them. So thus, the wages of sin truly is death of the entire being.

Psalm 10:13

Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, “You will not require an account.”

• When the heart is hardened beyond measure, it eventually turns completely against God and begins to justify their wicked actions. This is the end result of an unrepentant heart that refuses to accept the love of God and the salvation found in Christ Jesus alone. As 2nd Thessalonians 2:11 reminds us: “and for this reason, God shall send them a strong delusion…”  The hard reality is, many justify their sin, because they hate God.

• I can promise you that in this walk with Jesus, we will face many moments where the adversary of our souls will do all that he can to make us offended at our King, and even go as far as to make us into ugly people towards our fellow man, and especially towards God. The adversary is always trying to devour us (1^st Peter 5:8/9) while also bringing sabotage to the joy we can only find in Christ Jesus alone.

• If your heart is so hardened that sin does not convict you at all, this is truly the most dangerous place to be, because then you will not recognize your need for a Savior, nor experience His mercy and grace because you have bought the lie of: “I am too far gone”.

“if your heart condemns you, God is greater than your heart, and knows all things…”
