This Current Reality Is Fading Away.

Philippians 3:20-21

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

• We are not citizens of this world. If we were, we would serve the king and people of it for their glory (many today are beginning to realize that the kings of this age are wicked beyond measure and do not serve God). We are pilgrims... foreigners, travelers, passing through this age and looking to a New City, a New Kingdom (Zion, The New Jerusalem).

• As we see the world rushing to its own destruction, we look for a Kingdom that will not collapse or be corrupt, and the King will love His people, forever taking care of them as a father raises his children...

Revelation 21:3/4

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
