Transformed Through His Finished Work.

Jesus does not leave us to figure out everything. He is the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith.

2nd Corinthians 4:16-18

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

• This reality is quickly fading away. And, our lives are truly a vapor at best. This alone should bring to our hearts a great humility that draws us closer to God like never before.

• To be a new creation in Christ Jesus requires that we leave the 'corpse' of the old self in the grave, and when it comes back (it will), that we have the courage to drop kick it back in.

• We are called to look forward to the coming reality of Revelation 21:4, because only then will this current reality of death, sin, and delusion, finally be done away with.
