Your Books And Your Teachers Will Not Save You At The End.

Though I have read multitudes of books, and even published many of my own, I know that in the long run, it is only through Christ Jesus alone and the power of God that I could ever hope to be saved.

1st Corinthians 3:18/20

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”

• God requires that we come to the understanding of knowing nothing, and seeing that He knows everything, even when we ‘think’ that we know ‘something’. True humility requires that we fear God and repent (Proverbs 3:5/6). It requires that we know who He is, being still, KNOWING Him. God knows all things, and we truly know nothing in the long run.

• In my following of the Lord for 19 years, and reading/studying the scriptures for the past 30 of my 40 years on earth, I fully understand that I know nothing, and that He knows everything. I get this conviction from John 14:26 and John 16:13. When we understand that God is the SOURCE of love, the SOURCE of wisdom and knowledge, true knowledge, then we can even BEGIN to know anything at all, because God reveals it to us.

• The folks who get all of the books, listen to the podcasts, follow the great speakers of the past and present, try to ‘win’ all of the arguments and get in a two-piece suit to debate others… at the end of the age, none of that will matter. Many will literally stand before God and attempt to ‘reason’ with Him through their ‘wisdom’ “But Lord Lord, didn’t I read all of the books, follow the great speakers and win the arguments?” And Jesus will say: “I never knew you” because the ‘lawlessness’ they will have practiced is that they will have conformed Christ to their own image and led multitudes to hell because of it.
