Isaiah 2:2-4

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, "come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

• There is a coming prophecy to be fulfilled in the days ahead. Jesus will return to 'make all things new', and we will assist Him in rebuilding the world... (Revelation 21/22) it will no longer be filled with war, death, destruction, depravity or delusion, but, it will be a world made new, with Eden, Paradise, restored. THIS is our living hope as followers of Jesus today.

• Our foundational hope in the price paid on the cross (John 3:16/21) and the LIVING HOPE is when He returns to make all things new (Revelation 21:4). None of this will come through men speaking about a 'board of peace' or some 'golden age'. It will not come through peace treaties or cease-fires. It will not come through businessmen who sell out the people for a quick dollar and keep telling them that 'things are getting better' while they seek their praise and worship. It will only come through the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, the End, the First, the Last and the One who died, rose and is coming again (soon).
