Are You Working For The King Of Kings Or For Your Own Kingdom 'In His Name'?

Proverbs 10:16
The labor of the righteous leads to life, the wages of the wicked to sin.
Are you striving to labor for the Kingdom of God, or the kingdom of this world? They are not the same. Many professing Christians even now seek to build their own kingdom 'in the name of God', thinking that they will be able to say when they stand before Him: "But Lord Lord, didn't I do XYZ in Your name?" This is a fallacy that so many need to wake up from today, as the return of the Lord Jesus is drawing closer than ever.
So some might ask then: "What does the Lord require that we do then?" The answer is quite simple really... Love God with your entire being and your fellow man as yourself (Matthew 22:36/40) and go out into the world and make Jesus known as He commanded (Matthew 28:18/20). If the church is doing anything other than this at its core, then it is merely using the name of Jesus for their own selfish gain, and ultimately using the name of the Lord in vain.
When we are seeking to advance the Kingdom of God, our fruit (works) and our rewards (in eternity) will be everlasting. But if in this world, nothing more than temporary fantasies that fade away. If we seek to build our own kingdoms 'in His name', then we will have 'received our reward' in this life only, which is the 'praise of men', which means literally nothing in eternity.

Wow, amen. We truly do need to examine our fruit daily.
