1st Samuel 8:4/9
Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.” But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the LORD. And the LORD said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. “According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.”
There are multitudes of professing Christians in America who have defended the above picture and ceremony. They have used excuses like: "It is not what you think it is", "this is not as bad as what Joe Biden/Obama did", "At least we don't have Kamala Harris in office", "It could be worse", "But he has done so much and deserves it", "But he is saving America", and the list goes on and on and on. This type of rhetoric and behavior is the same thing as cult-worship, 'winking' at evil and compromising, ignoring integrity and calling evil as good.
You have men in pulpits, men with platforms and men in suits trying to sell the idea that "Donald Trump is the best thing since sliced bread" and "chosen by God", even while he lies to the public every single day, slanders his enemies on live TV, (is on a list of the worst human traffickers in human history) continues to tell the American people that 'everything is getting better', when most folks can clearly see that it is not as they go to the store, the gas station or look for work, many soon to become homeless because they cannot afford basic needs any longer. This entire administration is the most lawless and corrupt in American history, and it does not even come close.
At what point will American Christians begin to finally see that Donald J Trump is a judgement upon America? When will they see the wickedness of his rhetoric and finally realize: "This guy is just using us for the vote"? The issue is, many desire to 'save America' more than they desire to point people to Jesus, who saves them. They have traded in Matthew 22:36/40 and Matthew 28:18/20 for 'MAGA'. They have bought the lie that 'America is Gods nation', while it continues in a pattern of debauchery and degeneracy not seen since the Roman Empire. America has literally become Pagan Rome 2.0
Every day it looks more and more like people are simply treating Trump as a savior figure, never being able to criticize him, never being able to call out a single thing wrong that he does because multitudes have been enamored by his ability to speak like a true sleazy businessman, and give people the impression that 'this guy really knows his stuff'. Not realizing that all we witness, to be quite frank, is the perfect narcissist language and rhetoric. The American people have received a man in the place of leadership who reflects the HEART of much of the people. He is a judgement upon a people that have become complacent, compromising and comfortable with a false reality and a false view of God.
Trump is NOT the antichrist, however, he is by far the most modern version of a MAN OF SIN. He is the most modern version of a MAN OF LAWLESSNESS. He is the clearest foreshadow of the coming antichrist we have seen in our own lifetime. Only those who have taken the time to study scripture, study history and look at the patterns of both can see that we are, right now, experiencing judgement in our nation because we refuse to repent of pride, arrogance, compromise, degeneracy, delusion and overall a false sense of righteousness. America has become no different than pagan Rome. We pride ourselves in ourselves, and the supposed 'freedoms' we think that we have. We play church, curse our fellow man, fall for the trap that it is a 'political issue' on all sides, and have fallen so far away from the mandate of Matthew 28:18/20, and traded it in for 'bigger church buildings', 'better programs' and 'more giving', thinking that 'this is what God wants', all while putting Trump on a pedestal, ignoring his every blasphemous act and having the gall to say "he is Gods chosen" (yeah, chosen by the god of this age).
'Televangelist' Mark Burns tried to convince the public that this ceremony was 'not a golden calf', while the entire ceremony was treated as a moment of worship. Trump himself called in during the ceremony to give 'praise' for the work done, bragging about how 'people were taking pictures' and how 'other pastors were excited about it', showing you the obvious blasphemy of the entire event. Professing 'men of God' utterly ignoring Exodus 20:4/5 and 1st Samuel 8.
The most damning issue with this entire reality, is that people will condemn you for condemning this in any way, shape or form. You may even receive death threats from other professing Christians who 'stand in MAGA', because again, they have chosen the lies of the world and the comfort of this false age, VS serving God and doing as He commands (Matthew 22:36/40, Matthew 28:18/20). We are witnessing a time in American history where people have placed a political figure into the place of God, do not question a single thing he says, or a single thing the administration does, and becomes enraged at those who dare say anything at all critical about any of them, even when the evidence shows us how bad things are truly becoming.
My fellow American Christians who have discernment, I urge you to prepare for the darkest days in American history. People will treat you like outcasts, and eventually, like 'enemies of the state'. To those of you professing Christ with your mouth, but giving praise to Trump, I exhort you to wake up while there is still time...
"Choose this day whom you will serve... as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Adonai, the I AM THAT I AM."
Stop giving your praise and worship to narcissistic politicians (on all sides) that lie to you every single day. You have a CREATOR GOD who made you for HIS GLORY and loves you beyond measure (John 3:16/21, 1st John 4:19), is calling for you to repent, believe in His Son, follow Him and find meaning and purpose in Christ Jesus alone, and not in the continued delusional lies of this age.
Time is short (Revelation 22:10/11).
