God Will Always Answer When We Cry Out To Him.

Psalm 50:15

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

• God delivers us from many troubles, not so that we do not face difficulties, but that we may experience His merciful kindness and goodness, being in awe of Him and giving Him the glory and praise due to His name. Sometimes though, we end up 'playing stupid games' and 'winning stupid prizes', because we chose not to listen to Him. Even in this is He merciful, not allowing us to receive the fullness of what we truly deserve.

• If we choose not to call upon God when we face trouble, the alternative is 'numbing out' with some form of false comfort, or becoming bitter and trying to 'figure it out' on our own. I know from experience in my own walk that it is FAR BETTER to simply trust God and cry out to Him instead of leaning upon our own understanding. The most valuable lessons I have learned came from crying out to Him and being still, knowing that He is God.

• The one that God surely answers is a soul who has a broken and contrite heart, understanding their sin and choosing to repent and be honest that they have rebelled against Him, instead of continuing in a way of rebellion and merely using His name 'as a means to an end' for their own agendas. God knows the WHY behind the WHAT with each cry coming to His ears. May we know why we cry out to Him and trust in His perfect, sovereign Grand Design to answer as He sees fit for His glory.
