Hear. Repent. Believe.

Many people follow Jesus because of XYZ reason outside of what He commanded. Many follow an 'idea' of Jesus which is convenient for them... why do YOU follow Jesus?

John 5:24 (also read along with John 3:16/21)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life."

• Before we came to know Jesus, we were walking dead in our sins. We were walking corpses, dead bodies and souls. We chose to live a lie, enjoy the lie and defend the lie. But if we have truly been born again, we now see the lie for what it is, have turned from it, surrendered to Jesus and begun living a New Life in His Holy Spirit, teachings and reality.

• Christ Jesus gives to us NEW life. He alone gives us a new heart, mind, Spirit and at the end, a new body... we have MUCH to be thankful for in all of this. But if we do not take Him seriously at His Word, promises, finished work and His (soon) return? We may grow weary and end up denying Him in the days ahead. We must not only hear, but repent, believe, pick up the cross and FOLLOW HIM, no matter the cost (Matthew 24:9/14, Revelation 2:10, Revelation 6:9/11, Revelation 12:11, Revelation 13:10, Revelation 14:13, Revelation 16:4/7).
