Humble Unity In The Holy Spirit Is Better Than Blind, Arrogant, Proud Zeal.

Romans 12:16

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Isaiah 5:21

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

• When our minds are set upon God (Matthew 22:36/40), His Kingdom and making the name of Jesus known (Matthew 28:18/20), we will find ourselves being in unity of one Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:1/4) who will lead us according to the Grand Design of the Father.

• If our hearts and minds are set on using the name of Jesus for our own agendas (MAGA, winning the culture war, beating our political enemies, etc), we should not be surprised to hear on the last day: "I never knew you".

• Making Jesus known to our local and surrounding communities IS 'winning the culture war'. REPENTING and making Jesus known in America IS 'Making America Great Again'. BEATING our 'political enemies' is making Jesus known to them as He is (Hebrews 13:8) and not conforming Him to 'appease' their criticisms of the truth.

• Much of the divisions in the church would fade away if we simply take God seriously at His Word (John 14:26, John 16:13), stop allowing ourselves to be misled by multitudes of ideologies and voices (2nd Corinthians 11:3/4), and get back to doing as Jesus commanded us (Matthew 22:36/40, Matthew 28:18/20). THIS is how we humbly submit to the Lord and JOIN IN with HIS work and stop trying to do 'our own thing in His name'.
