Let God Be True, But Every Man A Liar

When man takes the Word of God according to man, makes a bunch of books about it and creates entire systems of thought from it all, we end up with the madness we see today in the church that still has not understood the warnings of 2nd Corinthians 11:3/4.
When man takes the Word of God according to man, makes a bunch of books about it and creates entire systems of thought from it all, we end up with the madness we see today in the church that still has not understood the warnings of 2nd Corinthians 11:3/4.

1st Corinthians 1:26/31

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”

  • What does it look like when you have multitudes of people in the church world teaching and pushing things like antisemitism, replacement theology, race hatred, Christian Nationalism, mixing Nazism with the faith, embracing depraved ideologies and twisting scripture to justify their practice, among many other hard realities, all things contrary to the Word of God and the commands of Jesus?

  • We see this harsh reality in our faces right now. Many have ‘become wise in their own eyes’ and ‘prudent in their own sight’, believing that the ‘founders’ of their ideologies somehow ‘knew more’ than God, not realizing that the things which they have been taught to believe are nothing more than doctrines of demons and conformities of Christ Jesus to the vain imaginations of man. And sadly, so many embrace them without any discernment or even the courtesy of a second thought.

  • Will you be courageous enough, humble enough and faithful enough to trust God at His Word as it stands, while using discernment to test all things in such a time as this? God Himself remains true to His Word and the commands given to each of us in making His Son known. We must do as Jesus commands (Matthew 22:36/40, Matthew 28:18/20), and begin really questioning the things man pushes because it ‘sounds right’.
