Love Is Not Selfish But Selfless.

Life for the glory of God is to be a SELFLESS adventure that is poured out for His name.
Life for the glory of God is to be a SELFLESS adventure that is poured out for His name.

1st John 3:16/17

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

  • For love to be selfless, it must first be founded and centered in God our Father (Deuteronomy 6:5), and only then can we love others in the purest form (Matthew 22:36/40). If one seeks to understand love according to the pattern of the world, it will end up in the reality of Sodom and Gomorrah, or even the culture of LGBTQ (living a lie to fit in with a world that hates itself and has been taught to enjoy depravity and degeneracy).

  • The love that a disciple of Jesus is required to have, is that which is from a selfless heart rooted in the truth, seeking to be a POURED OUT VESSEL for His glory. If that love is rooted in some intellectual knowledge, arguments, debates, 'being right' or condemning those not thinking or acting like you, then all you truly have is dead, conformed, arrogant religion (James 1:27, 1st Corinthians 13:1/13) that is merely you seeking to 'win' against those who disagree with you, instead of PROCLAIMING THE TRUTH in your ACTIONS (James 2:18), and not merely in your 'words'.
