The Creator, His Word (Son), His Holy Spirit.

God spoke, God created, God sent.
God spoke, God created, God sent.

1st John 5:6/8

This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

  • God considers blood as precious. When we see Cain kill his brother Abel, the blood of Abel 'cries out to God' from the earth (Genesis 4:1/15). We see a similar pattern throughout the Old Testament (Torah) where God commands the covenant people to give animal sacrifices, instead of using their own blood (many do not understand how significant this is, as He easily could have had the people slay those who sinned and been no different than the pagan nations).

  • Water is baptism of the flesh, while blood is baptism of the Spirit. We are washed in the blood of the Lamb if we have fully placed our trust in His finished work, while water baptism is symbolic to dying and then raising from the dead as a new person in Christ Jesus (as well as a foreshadow of the coming resurrection). The Spirits of God (Revelation 1:4, 3:1, 4:5, 5:6 Isaiah 11:2) are summed up in the Holy Spirit given to each and every true follower of Jesus as a 'seal of promise' and a 'guide' (John 14:26, John 16:13) to keep us in repentance, conviction, correction and being able to understand the Word of God (2nd Corinthians 11:3/4).

  • God is not separated. But He works through the spiritual, the physical and the metaphorical. He is at work in far more ways than we can even begin to imagine (Isaiah 55:8/10). He has provided for each of us a means to be saved (John 3:16/21), and a coming hope beyond measure at the end of the age (Revelation 21:4). Our hope is not merely in Spirit, Water or Blood, but ultimately Who they belong to, and Who has given them to us for His glory.
