The Warnings To The Seven Churches.

In light of the current condition of the church today, I think it would be wise to look over what Jesus says to the churches in Revelation, reflect on it and consider how it applies to the church in 2026 for the West and in other places of the world.

Revelation 2:1/7 (The Loveless Church)

“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands (Revelation 1:20): I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’

• Take note that Jesus says to pretty much every church: "Repent or else I will remove your lampstand". In short, the church also needs repentance and not just the world, and if the church refuses to repent, then it should not be surprised to find itself in a strong delusion (like we see today with much of the church in the West).

  
  

• Works, labor, patience, preserving under pressure and even light persecution from government and local cities. SOME churches in the West are doing this, but this number is dwindling rapidly.

  
  

• Many hate to see the evil in the world today, and rightly so. Many are not afraid to call out hypocrisy in our own ranks and churches, calling for repentance as well. The issue is that we get slandered, mocked, ridiculed and told that we are 'accusing the brethren' by doing so. Most men in the pulpit called out for their evil call the brethren calling them to repentance as 'demonic attacks'. They did the same to the prophets before killing them.

  
  

• The love of many has already grown cold both in the world and in the church. The reason why it has grown cold in the church is because multitudes of churches have been infiltrated by arrogant, egotistical psychopaths who use the name of the Lord in vain and believe things like 'muscles' and 'whiskey' and 'smoking cigars' and 'having a 10/10 wife with 10 kids' and 'Christian Nationalism' is a 'flex' and 'what Jesus desires for us to do', instead of going out to do the Great Commandment and the Great Commission as Jesus commanded.

  
  

• The Nicolaitans is a reference to a sect of that time, as well as defined in the Greek as 'the destruction of the people', which Jesus rightly hates, and we should hate as well. We should not desire to see ANY perish without knowing Jesus and repenting.

  
  

Revelation 2:8/11 (The Persecuted Church)

"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a ****gogue of Satan. Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’

• Works, tribulation and poverty. These are things that much of the Western church today does not truly understand because they have been spoon-fed a comfort, convenient and happy Gospel that seeks to 'improve your life here on earth' instead of drawing you close to God, repentance and saving souls from going to hell.

  
  

• What IS the ****agogue of satan? The antisemite and Hitler lover will tell you that it refers to 'Jews for all of time'. The true definition (which makes sense) is those who arrogantly proclaim themselves as 'the church is the true Israel'. Those who proclaim to be 'better than' the covenant people, while hilariously not seeing the hypocrisy of such a teaching (Jeremiah 33:19/26, Romans 11), considering that the church has blood on its hands against the Jews throughout history. We have clearly done worse than the Jews ever did in the past up to today in 2026... and the paganism of America proves this!

  
  

• Persecution is coming to the West. Multitudes of Christians will be so offended by this reality that they will deny Jesus completely (Matthew 24:9/14). Others will be expecting the persecution, while many multitudes of people will not because of what they have been taught for decades. This is a scary reality which I believe is AT THE DOORS. Jesus says here to 'be faithful until death', which is a reference to the later parts in Revelation... 6:9/11, 13:1/10, 14:13, 16:4/7. In short, He PROMISES martyrdom for many who follow Him at the end of the age... not secret escape!

  
  

Revelation 2:12/17 (The Compromising Church)

“And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’

• 'Hold fast to My name' will be required at the end by all believers worldwide who choose to trust Jesus in the midst of tribulation, persecution and even martyrdom. If one refuses to hold fast to Jesus, it will prove that you only followed an 'idea' of Him (2nd Corinthians 11:3/4) that was convenient for you (Matthew 7:21/23).

  
  

• Antipas is described as a 'faithful martyr'. So then why does much of the Western church proclaim that "martyrdom is not for us"? Because they hate the idea of enduring faithfully and believe that persecution and martyrdom = God does not love us. The underground church would strongly disagree and have so much to teach the Western church!

  
  

• Doctrine of the Nicolaitans in todays terms could be referenced to churches putting on shows to mislead, distract and not teach the people the scriptures, but to merely keep them entertained, and thus destroy them. We must NOT tolerate churches that do such things and continue calling them out to repent, shut down and encourage the congregants towards following Jesus as He is (John 14:26, John 16:13), and begging them to FLEE from ear-tickling.

  
  

• Take note that Jesus says at the end of every warning to a church that "he who endures to the end shall be saved" or "he who overcomes". ALL OF THIS LANGUAGE IMPLIES ENDURANCE AND GOING THROUGH TRIBULATION!

  
  

Revelation 2:18/29 (The Corrupt Church)

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

• SOME CHURCHES HAVE GOOD WORKS and are doing as Jesus commands. And it has nothing at all to do with big fancy buildings, programs or all of the other 'fluff' we see with modern evangelicalism. In fact, the most successful church in the world right now is the underground church in Iran, which has been the fastest growing for the past decade plus!

  
  

• Sexual immorality does not simply mean 'dirty stuff done in the bedroom'. It has to do with spiritual immorality, and MUCH of the church in the West is seeped in it beyond measure. It has exploded especially since after Covid19 and the lockdowns. Most American churches are PAGAN.

  
  

• 'I will put on you no other burden'. Understand that when people say: "God never gives us more than we can handle", this is an ignorant belief and a lie. Any of us can testify that we have faced things in life even as believers that has tested us beyond measure, and we only made it through because of HIS FAITHFULNESS.

  
  

Revelation 3:1/6 (The Dead Church)

“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

• Many churches are all about the pastor, all about the programs, all about the products, all about the music, all about the message, all about the politics, all about the feelings, all about the culture war, all about the MAGA or all about some other vain thing that has nothing to do with the Great Commission.

  
  

• Jesus Himself is going to refine and mature a faithful remnant that will come out of these systems of thought that have conformed Him to their own image for centuries. Conformed religion will die, and out of it will come a remnant that will count the cost and follow Jesus no matter what, even if it costs them their literal lives. It is at the doors!

  
  

• Jesus here warns once again to "watch and pray", not to escape into the sky, but to respond in a right manner to the Day of the Lord. If you are too comfortable in this world and life, then He will come upon you as a thief!

  
  

Revelation 3:7/13 (The Faithful Church)

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the ****gogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

• Jesus will humble 'the church is the true Israel' crowd and show them that they (the Jews) are indeed loved, and will be saved at the end (Romans 11).

  
  

• Those who endure faithfully will be preserved. 'Keep' does not mean 'remove'. It means that He will faithfully preserve us to the end. If that end means martyrdom, who are we to complain? Martyrdom glorifies God. If that end is natural death? God will keep you and use you for His Kingdom purposes until your last breath.

  
  

• 'I am coming quickly' means that we should live as if He were already here. It does not mean that 'He came in 70AD' or 'He can return any second now', because if that was the case, then He would have returned over a century ago. Judging by the world today, CLEARLY He has not restored all things!

  
  

Revelation 3:14/22 (The Lukewarm Church)

“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ”

• Laodicean is translated as LAZY. This one church perfectly describes much of the Western church of 2026. It has become so comfortable and compromised that when Jesus rebukes it (exposing pastors in sex scandals, money laundering, etc) they do not repent, but end up causing people to leave the faith entirely because they place too much trust and hope towards the men in the pulpits who use them for gain, instead of seeking the Lord Jesus and recognizing that judgement starts first at the house of God.

  
  

• Being 'spit' or 'vomited' out is not a good thing. Jesus is saying this because they profess with their mouths but have no zeal. They put on a show, but have no heart change. They do the church shuffle, but do not tell anyone else about Jesus. Sadly in many churches for the West, Jesus is merely a mascot or a means to an end for multitudes of people.

  
  

• Right now, Jesus is rebuking the American church, and sadly not many seem to be getting the memo. So many have mixed MAGA with the church, it has become the very definition of Laodicean. It seeks to save America, but gives a big middle finger to the rest of the world or those 'not like them'. And now, many are worshiping Trump, even as God is exposing him... the church in the West needs to wake up!

  
  

Jesus warns ALL of these churches for good reason. All of them had one failure or another because they had lost sight of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. If the church does not get BACK TO THE BASICS of what Jesus gave us to do, then we may find ourselves under a strong delusion following an 'idea' of Him taught by heretics, ego maniacs, cultists, false prophets, political-pastors and others who seek to sway you to 'their idea' of Jesus, and not the Jesus who is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

Come out of the Babylon of conformed religion. Come out of the Babylon of mixing politics with church. Come out of the Babylon of comfort and convenience. Come out of the Babylon of self.

Come back to your First Love, because time is short.
