Trump Worship Syndrome.

There is a derogatory term that has become normalized today in the political world towards any person (regardless of political leaning) that gets used when any single person says anything at all critical (legitimate or not) against Donald J. Trump.
"Trump Derangement Syndrome"
This term gets used typically because they believe the other person criticizing Trump is either a Liberal, Democrat or simply "somebody who does not follow the MAGA agenda" (this does not sound cult-like at all). Even people who are considered Republican or Conservative get called the same slanderous term, thinking "that will get them to shut up". The reality is, those who use the TDS term fall very easily into the TWS ideology. They worship Trump. Maybe not in the same way we think of worship, but with a mentality of:
"Who can make war with him?"
"Who is like him?"
(Revelation 13:4)

Millions of people today are witnessing the rhetoric of Trump, his admin and his constant lying, narcissism, slander, mocking, going back and forth between saying one thing and doing another, making promises and never once keeping them, constantly changing his story, calling those who recognize the state of the country as 'fake news' or 'a hoax', all while people are afraid of being able to afford basic needs and the reality of homelessness is becoming more real with each passing day (even a homeless epidemic country-wide).
There is a great and deep cognitive dissonance in the USA right now, where multitudes of people simply ignore every single delusional thing that Trump and his admin does, and continue on with the 'trust the plan' rhetoric, the MAGA rhetoric, the 'F*** your feelings' rhetoric, the 'we are winning' rhetoric, the 'this is what I voted for' rhetoric, the 'at least it is not Kamala or Biden' rhetoric, all while ignoring the very obvious writing on the wall of how bad things really are right now in 2026.
Now I know that some are going to respond to these things with:
"Shut up liberal/demonrat" (I hold to no political side)
And I will respond with urging you to stop looking at a SPIRITUAL issue, a SIN ISSUE, a MORALITY ISSUE through a political lens. This is the real issue. Folks continuing to look at the very SPIRITUAL and BIBLICAL reality right now, through a political lens. They do not understand history, the bible, or seeing things 'as they are'. They continue to look at things in a 'left VS right' ideology, with the mentality of: "We need to save our race, our country, our traditions, our XYZ".
I am not stating that Trump is 'the antichrist', however, more and more with each passing day, he DOES act like a 'man of lawlessness' with his words and actions. He is not merely narcissistic beyond measure, but he is literally acting like a man who is without law or order, and people simply clap and go along with the show. THIS is the issue. It does not matter what you think regarding votes (I voted for him during his first term). It does not matter what you 'think' he has 'accomplished'. He continues every single day, lying to the public. And you do not need to even watch the news to know that he is lying when you listen to what he says and then go out into the real world... things are very bad, while Trump and his admin continue to tell us: "Things are getting better... gas is way down... groceries are way down..." and yet, people are either about to become homeless, ARE homeless or are horrified at their current circumstances, all while Trump keeps saying: "Things are better than ever before".
This is literally: PISSING IN THE WIND, TELLING US THAT IT IS RAINING!
Multitudes of people since 2018 have placed Trump into a worshipful status (see pictures below):

I once had the same mentality of: "God has chosen this man to save America". I considered myself conservative (I simply now hold to biblical values, which surpass political on any side). I was on the MAGA bandwagon. I had hopes to see 'vengeance on our political enemies', all because I followed a rhetoric not rooted in scripture, not rooted in Jesus and not rooted in reality. Multitudes of others have also found themselves going to the scriptures and to Jesus, instead of a man in a suit who WANTS to either be Jesus (on Easter in 2026, Trump compared himself to Jesus as 'a king'), or wants to be some sort of 'savior' because he simply loves the spotlight and attention far too much.
AT WHAT POINT do you look at all of those placing Trump into a worshipful status (especially if you are a follower of Jesus) and ask yourself: "Am I doing the right thing?"
When you cannot criticize leadership, cannot criticize enemies, cannot criticize anything that you can see the OBVIOUS EVIL behind, it not only turns into cult-like behavior, but selling your soul for political comfort, or some other comfort 'in the name of God'. AKA, compromising and having selective integrity. Jumping on something that 'looks nice' because 'everyone else is doing it'.
Jesus Himself commanded we be IN the world, but not OF it. He commanded we do the WILL OF THE FATHER (Matthew 28:18/20), and not giving ourselves over to a 'cause' because we desire 'XYZ comfort'. Every single apostle and prophet stood AGAINST government, calling out its evil, and most of them being KILLED for it (2nd Timothy 3:12). So I ask the one reading this:
Who are you loyal to? (you cannot serve God and mammon)
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Jesus, Adonai, YHWH, God Almighty... Donald J. Trump is just a man who has his own agendas not rooted in the Kingdom of God.

"Awake awake oh sleeper..."
