We Need To Come Back To The Simplicity Of Following Jesus As He Is According To His Word.

Updated: Feb 19

Follow Jesus as a servant being poured out for His glory.

James 3:1

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

  • Many people like to be 'teachers' of the Word, but have no business doing so. They need to sit and learn from God Himself. The issue we have today is that there are countless 'teachers' in the church world, along with multitudes of denominations merely teaching about 'ideas' of Jesus that do not come from scripture, but from vain imaginations of man and demons, as well as from traditions of man, repackaged heresies and even from people who simply teach 'their version' of something. Paul warned us about this in 2nd Corinthians 11:3/4... and sadly, the church did not get the memo even in 2026.

  • Encourage others with the Word, yes. Point others to Jesus with the Word, yes. Learn and grow in the Word, yes. But, never become a teacher, unless you have first learned from the Great Teacher (John 14:26, John 16:13), and that you practice what you preach. As one who has written and published multiple books, I do not even consider myself a teacher (I am not biblically fit to be one). I simply encourage others to the SOURCE MATERIAL (the Word of God), and this is what each of us should be doing daily.

  • My hope and prayer is for the church to be humbled, removed from denominations and to come BACK to the simplicity of following Christ Jesus as He is, and sticking with the basics. This should be our hope now in such a time as this (Matthew 22:37/40, Matthew 28:18/20).
