What Comes From The Mouth Is In The Heart.

Proverbs 10:18

Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.

  • To profess Jesus, while having hate, slander and gossip stirring in your heart, proclaims that your profession of Jesus can come into question. We know that the adversary is known as one who seeks to 'kill, steal and destroy' as well as to 'seek somebody to devour' and is an 'accuser of the brethren'. If we profess to be students and followers of Jesus, but reflect, practice and justify those behaviors, the aspects of satan, we should be deeply concerned who we truly are being a 'student' or 'child' of.

  • In 2026, we see multitudes of people professing the name of Jesus with their lips, while also slandering Jews, Christians that stand with Jews, and just overall people using the name of Jesus in vain because their actions (fruit, works) show that they do not follow the One they profess, but a 'version' of Him made up in their own vain imaginations.

  • As followers of Jesus, our example IS Jesus (Hebrews 13:8, Matthew 22:36/40). If we follow the example of others who do not follow Him, then we will be living a lie, and taking the name of Jesus in vain. This is not a light issue or something to 'shrug off like nothing'. If people profess to follow Jesus, but act no different than satan, then they will be blaspheming the Holy Spirit, having their hearts cultivated by the antichrist to ultimately turn on Jesus, and not just their fellow man.
