What Does A Falling Away Look Like In The West?

I firmly believe that the church in the West has been falling away for a while now, but it is becoming more obvious the past few years in general. I am not saying this as some negative 'blackpill' or 'doomer' pessimist thought, but as (like many of you who will read this) have noticed obviously evil behaviors being defended by professing Christians from many areas of life in general.

During 2017 I found myself on a 'dark' part of the web, known as 4chan. I was following the whole 'QAnon' craze (cult) which had many people placing Trump and his winning the elections as some biblical event, and I was following the 'Q drops' or 'crumbs' like they were scripture. Multitudes of people following it as if it was scripture, daily, hourly, with every passing second. Thank God it lasted only a month for me, because I saw some of the most evil and horrific stuff on 4chan that, alarmingly is now mainstream in many 'Christian' circles today.

What I have noticed the past 3 years in particular is that many have placed their politics over their faith in Christ, or they have believed that Jesus is 'just like them' in their political views (news flash, He is not... Isaiah 55:8/9, Psalm 50:21). I considered myself conservative on the political sides. But as I look at the rot from within Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, Liberals and all other parties? I feel it sinful to hold to any of them now, and fully believe that God is exposing hypocrisy, rot, delusion and degeneracy in all of them. A 'Babylon' to come out of, back to the simplicity of Christ Jesus (2nd Corinthians 11:3/4).

I firmly believe that the Western church is in freefall, ignoring the judgement from God (1st Peter 4:17). Many do not seem to be getting the memo, and it shows. And I am not just talking about the obvious evil in prosperity churches, the obvious hilarity in the signs and wonders crowd, or even the sex scandals from pastors and entire church leaderships (this has become worse the past two years), but now we are seeing obvious rot in political Christianity, all the while many are saying 'there is revival', when there is not, because there is no repentance or humility.

What exactly does a falling away in the West look like right now?

• One side blaming the other side for all of the problems, while ignoring the rot from within. ALL SIDES do this.

  
  

• One side professing that 'all evil comes from Democrats and Liberals', while ignoring and being silent when God shows rot within Republican and Conservative people and leadership.

  
  

• Certain denominations teaching outright heresies, replacing the covenant people with themselves (because the Gentile church has never sinned nor has blood on its hands???). Some of them showing hostility towards entire people groups (IYKYK).

  
  

• Many shouting 'revival is here', when it is not, simply because they see people gathering in a building, but no salvations and no repentance. Nobody is willing to walk with somebody in Christ, but merely seeks to 'get a quota' and to 'fill seats'. Nobody really seems to care about the soul of another these days.

  
  

• Multitudes of churches continue on with 'business as usual', not speaking to their congregations about the obvious signs of the times, nor encouraging them to study such things. We continue with 'bigger buildings' and 'better programs', but ignore our local and reaching communities that desperately need Jesus.

  
  

• The love of many is growing cold. Multitudes of people who profess Jesus with their lips do NOT show it with their actions, and when called out, they justify their actions 'in the name of God'. Understand that the antichrist will fool many with the hatred already settled in their hearts.

  
  

• Politics being above Jesus, or worse, people believing that 'Jesus holds to this' and 'Jesus holds to that' because in their emotions, egos and desire to 'beat the other side', they believe that 'Jesus is just like me'.

  
  

The church in the West is not getting the memo. We need to pray for brothers and sisters worldwide, yes. But if you live in the West (especially America), you need to pray for this nation. Not for a 'golden age', or 'to win' or for 'peace and safety', but for God to stir hearts and minds to repentance (including our own), to stop clinging to politics to 'solve our problems' and to stop placing our hope in people who have their own agendas, and ultimately to know Jesus and to make Him known while there is still time.

If you understand that the church is falling away, that the world is rushing to sudden destruction, and that it sometimes feels like we are shouting at a wall when defending the faith or trying to warn others to wake up... know that you are not alone. Many of us see it, are very awake and aware, and we are with you.

Lawlessness is abounding. The hour of watching is growing shorter and shorter. It is already night. BUT, Jesus is coming soon.

Do not be discouraged. Draw closer to Jesus and follow Him, no matter the cost.
