He Teaches The Lawless His Laws

The law is unfulfilled so long as we refuse to love God with our entire being, because then we can never hope to love our fellow man as ourselves.

Psalm 25:8

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He teaches sinners in the way.

• God Himself is the One who teaches the rebellious His Way in Christ Jesus alone. Jesus set the example by His life, and His obedience even up to the cross, setting the true Way for us to follow. Repentance and believing in what Christ Jesus has accomplished is what sets the stage for one to even begin living a ‘new life’ with new purpose and meaning. It cannot be done through tradition, religious hoops or keeping appearances.

• Because God is good and knows how best to lead each of us, this should give us great encouragement because it is He who is the Author and Finisher of our faith in all things IF we live a surrendered life to His will for us. But if we attempt to follow Him according to ‘our will’ and our own vain imaginations, we end up conforming Him to our own image, and following ‘a way that leads to death’ or falling into the pits of being ‘wise in our own eyes’ and ‘prudent in our own sight’.

• Do you trust God? Prove it by living a surrendered and obedient life towards Him daily. Study His Word, apply it, pray for others, pray in relationship to God daily and most importantly, follow the example of Jesus in ALL THINGS.
